electrician nearly finished on site

 

lot of painting done inside - white coat to begin.

colors come later.

Ive talked to Martin about date in July.

House will be habitable but not finished - you will be able to

have an input first hand into last few details which is handy.

 

 

 visitors to site today - I think they liked it!!!

WEEK 44.

 timber floors delivered.

solar panel in place.

screed floors laid on Friday and are drying out.

pipes are ready for radiators and sanitary downstairs.

most ceiling areas are ready for final coat plaster.

WEEK 43  - 17 - 10 -13.  

sorry - these are actually from last Friday.

so there will have been more progress since then.

 

space above kitchen - I have asked to close out - with 2 doors centrally located - to access storage later

looking good!!!

utility area is rendered - all new area now rendered.

 this is the fireplace to date.

decision to be made  - to infill areas left and right with bookcase/ storage????

or leave the firreplace and chimney freestanding???

it will have a plaster render finish.

WEEK 42  - 08 - 10 -13.  

render finished outside -

only timber cladding to go at utility and snug

plenty of wet plaster work and drylining going on inside - again these are the final few bits being finished.

WEEK 41  - 23 - 05 -13.  

render finished inside (render to downstairs master bedroom, hall, front rooms etc)
 

portion of existing stone wall left exposed downstairs

Render to front has a undercoat in place and all new build walls have render complete - 
plaster to outside should be finished Wednesday. 

stone wall to front nearly done - stone wall to side nearing completion.

Did ye get a chance to look at layout for parking and gates etc...
also any opinions on stone plaques???
